Business address: Wettersteinstr. 1, 82024 Taufkirchen, Germany.
Postal address: Wettersteinstraße 1, 82024 Taufkirchen, Germany.
Sportlager München is an offer by PARAMANIACSHOP – Paragliding & Paramotoring Shop.
These terms apply to all storage agreements between Stephan Walkowiak and customers for sports equipment and vehicles.
1. Subject of the agreement
- Stephan Walkowiak (the “Provider”) makes storage space available to the customer (the “Renter”) for sports equipment and vehicles.
- Storage is provided in a dry, ventilated underground garage for vehicles and trailers, and basement storage areas for sports equipment. For a parking bay, the Provider makes the space available for the Renter’s own use; safekeeping or custody of the vehicle is not owed. Location: Wettersteinstr. 1, 82024 Taufkirchen.
- The Provider supplies storage services only. Maintenance, repairs and other services are not included unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Formation and duration of the agreement
- The agreement is concluded when the Provider confirms the Renter’s enquiry in writing or electronically. An enquiry by email or messenger does not itself conclude an agreement.
- The minimum rental period is one month.
- The rental period, end date and cancellation terms depend on the agreed contract.
- Any extension is governed by the arrangements agreed in the contract.
3. Prices and payment
- Prices follow the applicable price list. All prices include statutory value added tax.
- Rent for the entire booked period is due immediately upon conclusion of the contract, unless a different payment arrangement has been expressly agreed. Storage begins after payment has been received, unless expressly agreed otherwise. Group rate: €40 per vehicle per month for at least 3 vehicles stored simultaneously, a 12-month term and full payment in advance.
- If a due payment remains outstanding, we send a payment reminder or formal demand stating the contract or invoice number, outstanding amount and a specific payment deadline. Please tell us about payments already made or any disputed charges so we can review them. Default interest and other default costs are claimed only where the legal requirements are met. Termination rights are governed by applicable law and valid contractual provisions.
4. Drop-off and collection
- Drop-off and collection of items in the basement storage area take place at the storage location by prior appointment. For underground parking bays, the Renter parks and collects the vehicle themselves.
- When items are handed over for storage and when they are returned, we check the visible condition of the vehicle or stored items together with you. Existing damage is recorded in the intake report. On return, we compare the condition with that report and record any visible damage or differences in the release report. Please report visible damage at the respective handover. If you discover damage later, please notify us by email as soon as possible, stating your contract number, the affected item and when you discovered it. Photos help us assess your report. Statutory rights and time limits remain unaffected.
- Items must be delivered clean and dry. We accept motorcycles, cars and jet skis with the fuel already in their vehicle tanks. Paramotors stored in the warehouse must have an empty fuel tank.
- The vehicle or stored items must be collected no later than the last day of the agreed rental period, unless a different collection deadline or an extension has been expressly agreed.
- For late collection without an agreed extension, we charge 50% of the previously agreed monthly rate for the first 1–15 calendar days. From day 16, the total charge for the first additional month is the full previously agreed monthly rate. Each additional month begun after that is also charged at the full previously agreed monthly rate. The half-month rate applies only once, at the start of the delay.
- If a vehicle or stored items are not collected on time, we request collection by a specific date. Outstanding payment claims are listed separately. Please contact us if you wish to agree a different collection date or an extension. A statutory lien is asserted only where its requirements are met. Before any sale under a lien, entitlement and the required notices and waiting periods are reviewed; a separate notice of intended sale is issued where legally required. A missed collection deadline or unsuccessful reminders do not automatically permit sale or disposal. Disposal requires a separate legal basis.
5. Access
- Basement storage for sports equipment: access is permitted only by prior appointment during opening hours or by individual agreement. Unauthorised independent access to the basement storage area is not permitted.
- Underground vehicle parking: access at any time with your own key or key box code; without your own key, access is by appointment. The agreed key deposit applies when a key is issued.
- The Provider reserves the right to enter the storage premises without prior notice in urgent cases, including imminent danger, an official order or necessary maintenance.
6. Deposit and keys for underground parking
- A deposit of €100.00 is payable when the garage key is handed over.
- At the end of the contract and upon return of the key, the key deposit is settled and refunded. Any offset against valid claims is made only where the legal requirements are met and is itemised transparently; any remaining balance is refunded.
- Please report a lost key without delay. Replacement costs are charged only to the extent that you are liable under applicable law. Only necessary and documented costs are charged. Replacement of the locking system is charged only if it is necessary and has actually been carried out. Any offset against the key deposit is made only where the legal requirements are met and is itemised transparently; any remaining balance is refunded.
- Keys must not be passed to third parties.
7. Renter’s obligations
- Only the items agreed in the contract may be stored.
We do not accept dangerous goods, explosives, illegal items or stolen goods. The exceptions expressly listed below remain permitted.
The following are excluded:
- We do not accept separately stored fuels, flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive or oxidising substances, or pressurised gas containers. The expressly permitted empty diving cylinders are exempt from the gas-cylinder prohibition. Fuel already present in the vehicle tanks of motorcycles, cars and jet skis accepted for storage is also exempt. Batteries installed in e-bikes and vehicles, as well as separate battery packs, are generally accepted for storage and are exempt from the blanket dangerous-goods prohibition. Items that could endanger other stored goods or the premises remain prohibited.
- We do not accept explosives, detonators or pyrotechnic articles, including fireworks and pyrotechnic signal ammunition.
- We do not accept narcotic drugs, cannabis or new psychoactive substances covered by the relevant German substance laws for storage. Please contact us in advance to clarify acceptance of prescribed medicines.
- We do not accept radioactive substances within the meaning of the German Radiation Protection Act, infectious materials or hazardous waste.
- Perishable goods and food
- Live animals or plants
- We do not accept stolen goods or items whose possession, transfer or storage is prohibited by law under the specific circumstances.
- Items that could endanger other stored goods or the premises
- Items with an offensive odour
We do not accept weapons within the meaning of the German Weapons Act, essential firearm components or ammunition. This also applies to sporting and hunting weapons, blank-firing weapons, irritant weapons and signal weapons, regardless of any authorisation to possess them.
These acceptance restrictions apply to our storage service. They do not mean that possession of every excluded item is illegal.
If there are concrete grounds to suspect a criminal offence, we will promptly report it to the competent authorities.
- The Renter must promptly notify the Provider of changes to their address, phone number or email address.
- The storage customer’s liability is governed by applicable law.
8. Insurance
For warehouse storage, insurance cover up to €5,000 per contract is included in the rent. Higher cover is available on request. This insurance does not cover storage in the underground garage.
Parking space rental does not include insurance from the provider. You are responsible for insuring your vehicle. On request we check additional cover for any storage and tell you the scope and price in advance.
9. Liability
- Our liability is governed by applicable law. This also applies to additional services agreed separately.
- The storage customer’s liability is governed by applicable law.
10. Special terms for underground parking
- The maximum entry height is 2 metres. Vehicles and trailers exceeding this height cannot be stored. The entrance is 4 metres wide and the access lane is 3 metres wide.
- Registered vehicles must have valid motor third-party liability insurance. Additional comprehensive cover is recommended.
- Unregistered vehicles may be stored. Laid-up vehicle insurance is strongly recommended because the Provider does not insure the vehicle.
- We accept motorcycles, cars and jet skis with the fuel already in their vehicle tanks. Paramotors stored in the warehouse must have an empty fuel tank.
- Optional power connection at your vehicle parking space for a one-time fee of €15. Bring your own suitable charger. You are responsible for connecting and operating it. Battery care is not included.
11. Additional services
- Paraglider airing: During the monthly airing service, we unpack, spread out, air and loosely repack your paraglider. The service costs €20 per month. Photos are available on request via WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or email.
- Vehicle care: Vehicle care is available only for motorcycles and cars, by individual arrangement and including through our external partners. We agree the scope and price with you in advance. Not included in the parking space rental.
- Additional services may be added or cancelled in writing at any time. Billing and scope are agreed in advance. The optional power connection costs €15 once.
- Our liability is governed by applicable law. This also applies to additional services agreed separately.
12. Data protection
- The Provider collects and processes the Renter’s personal data solely to perform the agreement and fulfil statutory obligations.
- Details are set out in the Privacy Policy.
13. Final provisions
- Amendments and additions to the agreement must be made in text form.
- German law applies. Mandatory statutory protections that apply irrespective of this choice of law remain unaffected.
- Jurisdiction is governed by the applicable statutory provisions.
- If individual provisions of these terms and conditions do not become part of the contract or are invalid, the consequences are governed by applicable law, in particular section 306 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
- Your contract is governed by the terms agreed when it was concluded. Changes to existing contracts require your express consent, unless statutory provisions provide otherwise. Publishing new terms and conditions on our website does not change your existing contract.
